A Community-Orientated Baptist Church in Chocowinity, North Carolina

We've been waiting for you! It's true because we believe God Himself sent every person who comes into the circle of our unique church fellowship. It's not by accident that we have the joy of meeting you. So, above all else, we want to express Christ's love to you with genuine, heartfelt warmth. We're eager to know you, and we're excited to share with you the marvelous ways God is working in our church.

It won't take you long to discover that this is indeed a family, rich in the relationships that matter most. Growing together, we worship, we serve, we laugh, we cry, we learn, and we reach out to our world with life-transforming truth. We reach out to you, as well. Our doors are open. Our hearts are open, too. If you've been thinking, praying, searching, and hoping for a place to belong to, we say again, "Welcome Home"!

Please update your loved ones' prayer request or
if he/she needs removing from the list no later

About Us

FBC Chocowinity was founded as a community-oriented Baptist Church. It began as a mission of the First Baptist Church in Chocowinity, North Carolina. Our services were held in J. D. Thomas' store at the Chocowinity Crossroads near the old Hughes School in 1909. Mrs. P. R. Calias, W. C. Miller, and S. P. Willis were the founders of our church. In 1911, with 11 members, the mission became true.

We welcome everyone to become a part of our church and our family. We want people to feel and share the love of Christ. Our mission is to be diligent to show ourselves approved unto God, workers that are not ashamed in demonstrating this commitment by sharing His Word and His humility without thoughts of ourselves.
